I’m back home in SA from an amazing trip to one of the great American sf/f cons — Boskone in Boston, MA. I’m proud to say that my mixed-media assemblage triptych for Jeffrey Ford’s WELL-BUILT CITY trilogy won “Best of Show” at Boskone 47. Considering the pure artistic firepower in that room — Michael Whelan, Bob Eggleton, Omar Rayyan, Jean Pierre Normand, Rick Berry and more — and considering Boskone’s reputation as a very opinionated sf/f art gathering, I’m really honored and appreciative of the recognition. It was an amazing weekend and I’ve got a full blog report here, as well as a Flickr set of images from the weekend’s festivities.
