San Antonio’s 8th PechaKucha Night is Monday, November 5, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 9:45 PM and features a lineup of San Antonio artists and notables that should make for a very engaging event.
PechaKucha (from the Japanese word for the sound of chit chat) is a presentation format that involves 20 slides at 20 seconds per slide. It makes for a fast-paced lively presentation and allows for 8 presenters in one night. PechaKucha Night is sponsoered by the Architecture Foundation of San Antonio.
Jeff from Hyperbubble will be speaking and showing slides and video on “the art of Hyperbubble” and afterwards he’ll be interviewed by WOAI’s Randy Beamer! Other speakers include experimental art photographer Ansen Seale, biologist Kelly Lyons, caterer Tim McDiarmid, chef/educator Maria Palma, artist Chris Sauter, journalist Jamie Stockwell and advocate Mark Stoeltje. Randy Beemer is the emcee.
