Fresh off his Hugo Award win, John Picacio has opened a web store where you can buy museum-quality limited-edition prints of some of his most loved pieces.
The offerings include all 12 of his illustrations from the Chesley Award-winning 2012 George R. R. Martin / A Song of Ice and Fire Calendar each in an edition of only 100 prints. Picacio is also offering some of his notable cover illustrations from classic novels like Frederick Pohl’s Gateway, Walter M. Miller Jr.’s A Canticle for Leibowitz and Michael Moorcock’s Elric series. Newer works include Girl With Microphone (from Brenda Cooper’s The Creative Fire), Dan Simmons’ Hyperion and Drood and Mark Van Name’s No Going Back.
These prints are available in editions of 1000 and all prints are archival museum-quality prints suitable for framing. Each print is signed and numbered and individually check by the artist.
Check them out at John Picacio’s Web Shop. These will look great on the wall of any SF/Fantasy fan and naturally will make excellent gifts.
