The San Antonio 48 Hour Film Experience put on by the San Antonio Film Commission is history, but there are still a couple of pieces of business remaining. First, the awards, which were handed out last night at the Film Commission’s annual holiday party.
First place and the Audience Award went to Team Uncle Dynamite with their film La Vida De Noche, Second went to Team Live Wire for Endgame and third place was claimed by Team Cine Veliz. Team Uncle Dynamite was lead by Pete Barnstrom and featured the copious talents of Wes Barlow, Nikki Young, Brant Bumpers, Justin Barlow, Becky Jacobs, Karina Barlow, José Salinas, Lee Hurtado, Joey Carrillo, Paul Vaughn, David Stinemetze, Jeanie Portis, Miranda Contreras, Dan Smith and David Garza. Congratulations to all!
Second, we’re still trying to bring you as many of the entries as possible. This one, entitled Wild Sunday, presents a tale of the violent clash of generations. Directed by Rod Guajardo and featuring Anthony Guajardo (recently seen in AMC’s The Walking Dead). Rod has a nice blog post outlining the project and showing production stills.
