Those of us who are older have fond memories of local TV station movie programming. Often these were accompanied by a host or some sort of themed programming. In San Antonio you would watch programs like Project Terror or Screaming Meemies, where I grew up in Virginia it was Doctor Madblood.
In that vein, Steven Alejandro has put together a blog featuring listings of movies that were played on Saturday afternoons in San Antonio. Saturday Afternoon San Antonio Movies showcases trailers, artwork, discussions and sometimes the entire film of these oldies that you are unlikely to see on television anymore. Not all of these are SF movies, but there are plenty to be found in the mix including It Conquered the World, The Invisible Woman and Destroy All Monsters.
