The 2010 Chesley Awards winners were announced at the North American Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC) in Raleigh, NC this past Friday, August 6th. Scroll down, below the winners list, and feast your eyes on full-size images of the winning works. San Antonio’s own John Picacio won Best Cover Illustration / Magazine for his cover art “Away From Here” featured on the September 2009 cover of ASIMOV’S SCIENCE FICTION.

The Chesley Awards were established in 1985 by the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists to recognize excellence in speculative fiction art during the previous calendar year. Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees.
