You step in your Tardis for a quick five-minute trip to the moon and when you get back two years have passed. Or at least that’s what it feels like when you realize that Doctor Who Fans Unite is rapidly approaching their second anniversary. You can join the fun this Saturday, July 17th, at 7:00 PM at the Blue Star Brewing Company (1414 S Alamo St, 210-212-5506).
Join these whovians as they celebrate Doctor Who Fans Unite 2-Year Anniversary! There will be a Doctor Who cake contest, trivia and much much more.
Davros is less scary as a cake
DWFU will have a projector and a screen, so bring anything Doctor Who that you would like to share with everyone. Have a Doctor Who fan film? Bring it! Feel like acting out a Doctor Who skit? Why not? Feel like doing show and tell? Sure! If you have any Doctor Who memorabilia you would like to sell, feel free to do so at the meetup.
This is a get together for everyone to have fun and get to know one another better.
Last year’s celebration featured some amazing Doctor Who cakes. If you have baking skills, make and decorate a Doctor Who-themed cake and bring it to the party. There will be some great prizes, the only catch is it has to be homemade and you have to let everyone try it.
