SA Current Best of San Antonio 2010 CoverMucho thanks to all of you who voted for Missions Unknown as the best local blogger in the San Antonio Current’s Best of San Antonio poll. We made it in as number three in the final tally. Number one was claimed by Ben Olivo who writes the Downtown Blog for the San Antonio Express-News and the Current’s Sarah Fisch scooped the number two spot. Pretty impressive considering that Missions Unknown was a write-in candidate.

  • Time to celebrate. Break out the Tranya!

  • Woohoo, let’s hear it for write-in votes! Power to the people!

  • Very cool news. Thanks to all who voted. To all who have read this blog and even comment occasionally, this is your victory as much as the contributors who post fresh material every day. Make your voice heard and spread the word. More, the merrier….San Antonio can be a great town for sf, fantasy, and horror fans and creators if we make it so.

San Antonio is a much cooler town thanks to Missions Unknown. Maybe you could get some bumper stickers that say “Keep San Antonio Unknown” to replace all the Lame ones out there.

    Bumperstickers aren’t a bad idea, Scott…

  • That’s cool. I’m glad I stop by MU. I like how you guys highlight the going ons around here in SA. I find out about stuff I didn’t know about. Of course being able to make every event is tough with my work schedule, but I’m glad to see what I can.
