Doctor Who Appreciation Night with Matt Smith
Doctor Who Fans Unite presents the first two episodes of the brand new season of Doctor Who featuring Matt Smith as the newly regenerated 11th Doctor. The first episode just showed on BBC America Saturday night and the second episode runs next week so attend and you will be ahead of the curve. These episodes will be shown on the big screen at the Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes (1255 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227, 210.677.8500), and admission is free!
The 11th Hour (Episode 1) synopsis: The Doctor has regenerated into a brand new man, but danger strikes before he can even recover. With the TARDIS wrecked, and the sonic screwdriver destroyed, the new Doctor has just twenty minutes to save the whole world – and only Amy Pond to help him.
The Beast Below (Episode 2) synopsis: In the distant future, the entire United Kingdom has been relocated to space on the Starship UK. The Doctor and Amy arrive and are confronted by sinister new enemies, the Smilers. What is the secret of the Voting Booth?
