To celebrate the holiday season, Mike Fisher (subject of a July Made in SA interview) and Goofa Man Productions are happy to release their short animation Invisible Master to the public on YouTube!
Invisible Master tells the story of a mysterious man in a strange world who must complete a vital mission… with mind-blowing consequences! This animated science-fiction/fantasy uses both 2D animation and 3D animation and is heavily influenced by comic books, especially the work of illustrator Jack Kirby and writer Stan Lee. “I hope Invisible Master captures some of the same energy that I remember feeling when I read all of those great old Kirby and Lee comics as a kid,” says Fisher.
Goofa Man Productions is the award-winning one-man animation and cartoon studio of Mike Fisher. Mike’s independent animations have won awards at film festivals all across the country and several of his films have played at the San Diego Comic Con Short Film Festival. Goofa Man Productions is also the home of 3-D Pete! Just a few months ago Goofa Man proudly released the mini-comic 3-D Pete’s Star Babe Invasion Special! This colorful little publication salutes those charismatic, curvaceous creatures from the stars… Star Babes! (YOU KNOW… like Barbarella and Devil Girl from Mars!) 3-D Pete’s Star Babe Invasion Special! was greeted with tremendously positive reviews from the small press community.

Excellent film.
It really does capture the look and feel of Kirby. I always enjoyed Mike’s “Retro” ish type of style, if that’s the correct term. Sleek yet oddly insightful on some level.
Holy Guacamole! “Invisible Master” is amazing!
