More big news on the zombie front!
SAPD Detective and zombie-fiction writer JOE MCKINNEY has scored a three-book deal with Kensington’s PINNACLE BOOKS line, bringing his trilogy about the zombie takeover of the Alamo City to bookstores everywhere.
Pinnacle will rerelease Joe’s first novel, Dead City, in September 2010 with new cover art and added material, including two complete short stories. It will release Cataclysm, the second book, the following month. The final installment, The Land of Sand and Thorns, is tentatively scheduled for summer 2011.
All three volumes will be mass-market paperbacks, meaning you’ll likely be able to find them in big retailers like Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart seems like it’s already overrun by mindless zombies, so what’s the harm in a few more?
