The USS BEXAR, San Antonio’s Star Trek fan club meets this Saturday, August 15th, at 1:30 at Atomic Comics & Gaming (4904 Broadway – 210.826.3223).

USS Bexar is a non-profit Star Trek fan club located in San Antonio, Texas and a proud chapter of STARFLEET, The International STAR TREK Fan Association. They strive to promote the ideals of Star Trek as envisioned by Gene Roddenberry. The USS BEXAR is a community service type organization participating in various charities and events throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area. Some of the local charities the club participates in are the Elf Louise Project, The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the American Diabetes Association.
While their web site has not been updated in many star dates, the group is still quite active. If you are a fan of Trek, new or old, beam on up to the USS Bexar.
