Looks like we’ve got a change of venue for the San Antonio release of Duncan Jones’ forthcoming sf film MOON! According to the official website for the film, San Antonio’s AMC Huebner Oaks 24 will be the theatre where MOON will be released here in SA. We’ve been trying to contact the Santikos Bijou at the Crossroads for updates on showtimes, and they’ve been non-responsive this week, after they initially claimed they would be screening the film. Perhaps it’s because they apparently won’t be showing the film after all?
1. Missions Unknown and Worlds Collide will be assembling a group to watch the film at the Huebner Oaks on Friday night, July 10th.
2. We’re not sure what happened with the Bijou and why they won’t be showing the film, but we’re thrilled to see that the Huebner Oaks will be screening it.
3. We will contact the Huebner Oaks and see if they’ll give us the showtimes for Friday night as soon as possible. We’re aiming for our group to attend a showtime around the 7pm hour. We’ll post an update as soon as we know.

Alas, the little one is in the hospital that week, so we won’t be able to make the screening of Moon. Hopefully we’ll be able to come to a future event!

Thanks for the kind thoughts Paul. We’re in the middle of chemotherapy for the little one’s tumor – he’s doing well, but a new treatment plan has us in the hospital this week. We should be out for Can’t Stop the Serenity on Sunday though!
