San Antonio’s Doctor Who Fans Unite will be screening the first episode of the UK’s Torchwood TV series Friday night, May 29th. The event happens in the party room at La Madeleine, 4820 Broadway (210-829-7291), starting at 7pm. The screening will be followed by dining and socializing. A door prize will be given.
For the uninitiated, Torchwood is the X-Files of the UK. The spin-off of the new Doctor Who series stars Captain Jack Harkness. The Doctor Who Fans Unite Meetup page includes further details. RSVP before 6pm, Friday May 29th, is required!
