Jump-Start Performance Company gives you a peak into our fair city’s seamy future in the Science Fiction Noir play “The Case of the Neon Twins”. In classic film noir fashion, Detective Franco prowls the streets of 2068 San Antonio encountering femmes fatales and malicious corporations in his attempt to solve his most vexing case ever.
Comic-book styling meets fierce stage performance in this new full-length play.
“The Case of the Neon Twins” was written by Billy Muñoz and Daniel Jackson and stars Monessa Esquivel, S.T. Shimi, and Joel Settles. Dave Robb directs the production which is part of the Electric Performance Lab, a project in its fourth year, funded by the City of San Antonio & the Kronkosky Foundation.
The show runs Fridays and Saturdays, June 12-13 and 19-20. The performance starts at 8:00pm and there will be discussions after both Saturday shows.
